Good Saturday Morning!
?Whether it’s a package under the Christmas tree with a big red bow and your name on it or special treats found in Christmas stockings on Christmas morning, we get excited about unexpected gifts.The birth of Jesus is the most precious unexpected gift sent from the Father to His children —to us! No one expected the Messiah to come to earth as a baby born in a stable and placed in a manger. The birth of Jesus wasn’t kept secret like those packages placed under the tree. An angel of the Lord said to the shepherds, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for ALL people. Today, in the city of David, a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah.” (Luke 2:10-11) The shepherds quickly spread the news, glorifying and praising God. How will we share the Good News this Christmas? Who do you know who needs to know about Jesus?
?Dear God, Thank You for sending Jesus to earth - an unexpected gift to mankind. Help us to share the gift of salvation through Jesus with others today. Amen.
